Wellness by Anja Terms and Conditions

1. Prerequisite to commencement of sessions

   All clients must complete the contact information and consent form before starting their first session.

2. Cancellations policy

   Appointments that are not rescheduled or cancelled 24h in advance will result in being liable to pay the full cost of that appointment.

3. Late arrival

   If the client arrives late for a scheduled appointment, 15 min or more, it will result in a forfeiture of that session and the client will be liable to pay the full cost of that appointment.

4. Refunds

   There is a no-refund policy, however an extension of the pack can be agreed depending on the individual’s circumstances, such as illness and injury.

5. Fees

   The client will be asked to pay within 5 hours after the session has been completed unless they wish to purchase a pack, where the payment is asked for prior to the sessions starting. In some cases, monthly fees will apply.

6. Prices changes

   Session costs are subject to economic conditions, inflation and annual reviews of pricing structures and therefore can be changes at any time; written notification will be provided in the case of price increases to services.

7. Non-payment

   If the client has not paid for their previous session, then we reserve the right to cancel future appointments and refuse work in the future.

8. Suitability for soft tissue therapy treatment

   Any contraindications highlighted from your contact information and consent form may require a GP’s referral for permission to provide soft tissue therapy in order to protect you.

   It is normal for you to feel muscle soreness and aching as a result of deep manipulative therapy to the soft tissues, and will pass as a part of the recovery process. You consent to this by agreeing to the contact and consent form. It also states in there that Anja is not a medically trained professional and does not provide diagnosis or medical conditions or diseases during or following a treatment.

9. Liability

   Wellness by Anja will not be liable for any financial loss or loss of personal possessions, as a result of or in connection with the provision of services to you. We will also not be liable for any damage that may have been caused as a result of your failure to disclose medical details.

   We will not be liable for any muscle soreness, bruising and discoloration of the skin following a soft tissue therapy treatment, as this can happen depending on the individual and is a part of the healing process.

10. Intellectual property

    Unless stated otherwise, Wellness by Anja own the intellectual property rights for all material provided and all intellectual property rights are reserved.

    You must not:

    1. Republish material
    2. Sell, rent, or sub-license material
    3. Reproduce, duplicate or copy material


11. Data Protection

    Wellness by Anja is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) as a Data Controller, registration number ZB520293.

    All client details, case notes and correspondence will be stored securely and treated confidentially according to General Data Protection Regulations and the Data Protection Act 1988. Information is stored in accordance with British Dietetic Association and Health and Care Professions Council standards.
